Pisa and Lucca are two of Tuscany's most captivating destinations, each offering a unique blend of architecture, history, food and wine that deserves to be experienced up close and at a leisurely pace. Your tour will begin directly from your accommodation, so you can relax from the very first moment and let us take care of everything.

After a scenic drive through the Tuscan countryside, we will arrive in Pisa and head straight to the Piazza dei Miracoli, one of the most breathtaking squares in the world. Here you will stand before the extraordinary Romanesque ensemble of the Pisa Cathedral, the Baptistery and the world-famous Leaning Tower, all set against an expanse of immaculate green lawns. These masterpieces, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, represent the pinnacle of Tuscan Romanesque architecture and have inspired artists, architects and travellers for centuries. We can book your Leaning Tower tickets in advance, allowing you to climb to the top without the stress of long queues — access is strictly limited each day and tickets are rarely available on the spot.

After exploring the Piazza dei Miracoli you will have free time to stroll through Pisa's elegant city centre, browse its shops or simply walk along the banks of the Arno River, lined with handsome Renaissance palaces reflected in the water.

Before lunch we will drive you to Lucca, the second jewel of your day. Passing through the magnificent 16th-century city walls — among the best preserved Renaissance fortifications in Europe — you will enter a town full of surprises and charm at every turn. We will reserve a carefully selected restaurant where you can discover the authentic flavours of Lucca's cuisine, paired with wines produced in the gentle hills just north of the city.

After lunch the afternoon is yours to explore freely. Lucca rewards slow, unhurried walking: you will discover the stunning elliptical Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, built over the foundations of a Roman amphitheatre; long medieval streets now lined with fashion boutiques and jewellery shops; ancient towers rising above rooftops; and delightful pastry shops where you can taste traditional Lucchese sweets. For a different perspective, you can rent a bicycle and ride along the top of the wide tree-lined walls, one of the most enjoyable and unique experiences in all of Tuscany.

If you are a music or culture lover, Lucca has a rich calendar of events throughout the year. The Lucca Summer Festival brings world-class pop and rock artists to perform in the historic piazzas, while Lucca Comics & Games, held in autumn, is one of the largest comics and gaming festivals in Europe. The house where Giacomo Puccini, one of the greatest opera composers of all time, was born and worked is also open to visitors and well worth a stop.

At the end of the day we will drive you back to your accommodation, leaving you with wonderful memories and no logistical worries.
