The Medici Family over the course of the nearly four centuries ruled the city of Florence and at the height of their power were the Grand Dukes of all of Tuscany. Their vast holdings included several country villas reserved for hunting, relaxing and leisure activities. These villas are now museums which offer visitors the chance to admire their summer homes, renaissance gardens, the frescoes and décor that adorned the villas. This tour is organized with a driver and car. On request the tour can be led by a local Certified Tour Guide.
