You will reach a beautiful rural area in the heart of Chianti, where you will be welcomed at a small family-run farm. Here you will be introduced to the history and philosophy of the property before meeting your professional environmental hiking guide. After a short briefing, you will begin a guided walk through the surrounding countryside.

The hiking experience will take place along panoramic trails, dirt roads and natural paths, immersed in vineyards, olive groves and woodland. Throughout the walk, the guide will illustrate the route and share information about the history and unique characteristics of the area, as well as local traditions, flora and fauna. When in season, guests may also discover wild edible plants traditionally used in local cuisine.

About halfway through the hike, we will stop in a quiet wooded area, ideal for setting up a pleasant picnic break. Surrounded by nature, guests will enjoy a glass of the farm’s own wine, accompanied by a selection of local cheeses and cured meats.

After the picnic, the walk will continue following a circular route that leads back to the farm. Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed for a three-course lunch prepared with seasonal farm products, accompanied by a tasting of the estate’s wines and extra virgin olive oil, offering a genuine farm-to-table experience.

The planned hiking route is of easy to moderate difficulty and lasts approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. The first part of the walk follows gently rolling dirt roads through olive groves and vineyards, while the final section continues through the woods along a well-maintained path, ensuring a balanced and enjoyable experience in the Tuscan countryside.

In the afternoon, the tour will continue towards a historic castle in the Chianti area, an ancient estate deeply connected to the history of Tuscan wine. Here you will enjoy a guided visit of the castle’s historic cellars, where you will learn about traditional winemaking techniques and the long-standing wine heritage of the region.

The visit will conclude with a wine tasting, allowing you to sample a selection of the castle’s wines in a truly atmospheric setting.

During the trip, your driver will provide information about the history and characteristics of our wines, entertaining you with curious stories and anecdotes of our land.
He will be at your disposal to make your tour as comfortable as possible, to discover the true Tuscany and its heart: the Chianti.
