Your first stop will be at a charming 300-year-old organic farm overlooking Pienza. This traditional Tuscan farmhouse is a world of its own — surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and grazing sheep, as well as beehives for honey and an abundant vegetable garden. The farm is completely self-sufficient, preserving ancient techniques passed down through generations.

Here, you’ll enjoy an exclusive Cheese-Making Demonstration, where you’ll witness firsthand the fascinating process behind the creation of the famous Pecorino di Pienza. From the stables to the dairy, you’ll follow every step of production, guided by the expert cheesemaker. Afterward, delight in a guided cheese tasting featuring a variety of pecorino cheeses, paired with the farm’s own organic wines — a genuine sensory experience that captures the essence of rural Tuscany.

After your farm visit, you’ll head to Pienza, the “ideal Renaissance town.” You’ll have free time to stroll through its charming streets lined with artisan shops, sample local delicacies, and enjoy lunch at a restaurant we can pre-book for you — offering spectacular views over the Val d’Orcia.

 

To complete your Tuscan day, immerse yourself in an authentic olive oil experience. You’ll visit a traditional "Frantoio" (Mill Workshop) to discover the secrets of production of extra virgin olive oil, from the care of the trees to the cold-pressing process. A guided tasting will help you identify the delicate aromas and flavors that make this product truly special — Tuscany’s “liquid gold.”
