We will depart toward the breathtaking Val d’Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage landscape of rolling hills, cypress-lined roads, and medieval villages.

Upon arrival, you’ll meet your private e-bike guide and start your ride through some of the most iconic scenery in Tuscany. You’ll cycle along the gentle white roads that wind through the countryside, visiting Pienza — the “ideal Renaissance town” — and Bagno Vignoni, famous for its unique thermal square.

Along the way, you’ll stop at the Chapel of the Madonna di Vitaleta, one of the most photographed symbols of Tuscany. The route also passes through the landscapes made famous by the movie “Gladiator” — you’ll find yourself immersed in the very same panoramic view where some of the film’s most emotional scenes were shot. It’s a moment that leaves you speechless, surrounded by the pure beauty and silence of the Val d’Orcia. Lunch will be in  a well-deserved lunch at a local dairy farm (caseificio), where you’ll have the opportunity to taste their delicious homemade pecorino cheese, a true specialty of the area. The meal will feature fresh local products and traditional flavors from the Tuscan countryside — a genuine and authentic farm-to-table experience.

 

After your ride, we’ll continue by car to Montepulciano, a hilltop town renowned for its Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. You’ll visit an historic underground winery, carved into the ancient tuff rock beneath the town. The grand vaulted cellars, supported by massive pillars, resemble a Gothic cathedral — an awe-inspiring setting for an unforgettable wine tasting experience.
