We will travel through the Val d’Orcia region, one of Tuscany’s most breathtaking landscapes, with time to stop and capture memorable photos against the backdrop of one of the region’s most iconic and picturesque areas. 

 

Arrival at a remarkable 300-year-old organic farm offering breathtaking views over Pienza. The historic farmhouse, stables, and surrounding countryside are home to a variety of animals, along with beehives for honey production, olive groves, a flourishing vegetable garden, and woodland areas. The farm operates in complete self-sufficiency.

You will enjoy an exclusive cheese-making demonstration, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the art of traditional production and the techniques used to create authentic Pecorino di Pienza. Guided through every stage of the process, you will follow the journey from the stables to the on-site dairy.

 

The experience continues with a hands-on cooking class focused on traditional Italian cuisine. The class includes the preparation of fresh handmade pasta, a meat-based main course using pork from the farm’s own pigs, a seasonal side dish, and a dessert. Our chef will guide you throughout the entire process, sharing stories from daily life on the farm, insights into organic farming practices, and knowledge gained from over twenty years of experience.

 

All ingredients used during the class are sourced exclusively from the farm’s own production.

At the conclusion of the experience, you will enjoy a four-course lunch featuring an appetizer with a selection of farmhouse cheeses, a first course of fresh pasta, a second course based on the farm’s own pork, and dessert. The meal will be accompanied by water, estate-produced wine, and coffee.

 

After lunch, we will drive to Pienza, where you will have free time to stroll through its charming narrow Renaissance streets.

 

Before heading to your accommodation, enjoy a short stop in Montepulciano, an elegant hilltop town known for its well-preserved Renaissance architecture, charming historic center, and breathtaking views over the rolling Tuscan countryside and the Val d’Orcia.
